Acquiring And Using Content For Newsletters, Ezines etc.

How Content is Presented

All the articles and posts that make up this site are categorized (see the Categories menu to the right) and cover many aspects of online publishing. As you might expect, newsletter content receives heavy emphasis but less attention is given now to the more technical aspects of production such as printing, layout, formatting etc except where it might affect the impact of a newsletter’s content.

The Aim Of This Site

We strive to make this the best place on the Internet to get free newsletter content ideas, lists of newsletter content providers, advice on where to look for newsletter fillers, newsletter articles, ezine content, and so on.

To that end, you will find articles ranging from free ezine content ideas and ezine content providers to email newsletter software and email marketing. To get the most from it, why not subscribe to our content feed, or our mailing list—or both! These options are both available at the top of the far right column.

Our Evolving Website

As you can see from the above, 101 Newsletter Answers is all about… well, newsletters. At least, it started that way! Over time it has evolved into something more. We still primarily cover newsletters of course, in all their different forms (e.g. hard copy newsletters, as well as e-newsletters, or as they are now better known, ezines) but also now content acquisition and usage for blogs, websites, and even e-books. In other words, it’s currently more about ‘content‘ and online publishing per se, rather than just newsletter publishing.

The area we originally chose to focus on was that of providing advice and guidance for small and micro businesses, including individual entrepreneurs who publish a newsletter to promote their digital products or services online. That focus remains the same. However, most of what we provide is easily adaptable to any number of other areas. For example, if you want to produce a ‘family’ newsletter as a way of keeping in touch with relatives and their activities, you could find much of the material here relevant too.

We hope you find some of it useful. Please browse what’s available by using the Categories menu at the top right.
