Our Own Free E-Zine
For Newsletter Communicators
A monthly (approximately) ezine with the primary focus on newsletters, both paper and
electronic, and a secondary focus on anything that might be deemed useful to newsletter
communicators. The emphasis is on content (what's appropriate, where to find copy,
how to improve it etc) and usage (using newsletters for PR, communicating, marketing,
etc).
It's slanted towards SOHO (Small Or Home Office) businesses and home-based desktop
publishers but is also appropriate for anyone involved with newsletters, whether for
profit or otherwise. The SOHO coverage also means that due attention is given to sales and
marketing issues as well.
If you run a small business in the real world or online, or are editor of your local
club's newsletter to members, or even if you just own a computer and want to start your own
newsletter—for profit or hobby—then this e-zine is for you.
Past articles have covered such topics as:
- What makes a 'good' newsletter
- How to get paid without having to be a salesman
- Choosing appropriate copy
- How to achieve 'balance'
- How to find articles on specific subjects
- Building a loyal readership
- Using newsletters to build trust
- Cultivating and using contact lists
- How to find new newsletter clients
The target readership is anyone who needs to
communicate regularly with a group or anyone who runs a small business. The avoidance
of jargon is meant to give it wide appeal, especially to 'newbies'.

Important Email Information
To lessen the chances of email addresses falling prey to address harvesting software (as
used by spammers) we avoid showing them in full. Instead, we only show prefixes (what
comes before '@'). Please be sure to add the @ and (usually) 101newsletteranswers.com.
